At Third Street Church, our faith is firmly rooted in the Word of God, the Bible. We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, serving as our ultimate authority for matters of faith, doctrine, and practice. We are committed to studying, living by, and sharing its teachings with our congregation and the world.
Embracing Communion
We observe communion on the first Sunday of each month, commemorating the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. This sacred act symbolizes our unity as a faith community and our reliance on Christ’s atoning work. It is a time for reflection, gratitude, and spiritual renewal.
Nurturing Discipleship
Our mission is to “grow in faith, serve in love, reach out to all, and nurture disciples for the transformation of the world.” We believe that every person is created in the image of God, and we are dedicated to equipping people to carry out the good works that God prepared in advance for them to do. (Eph.2:10) Our faith journey involves surrendering to God’s will, seeking reconciliation, and constantly opening ourselves to God’s forgiveness, mercy, and healing.

Pastor Steve Halstead
Pastor Steve Halstead started as pastor in November 2023. He provides spiritual guidance, support, and leadership to our congregation. His dedication to the church and his commitment to nurturing disciples have been instrumental in helping our community grow in faith.

Our church is governed by a dedicated group of individuals who are deeply committed to our mission and values. They work tirelessly to ensure the smooth operation of our church and its ministries, while also providing spiritual oversight and direction.
